Anticipating the Challenges to the Vision of a Bottom-Up Democracy
This is a suggested schedule of events for the engagement of the international team of stakeholders in a disciplined dialogue to define the Problematique in actualizing the Obama vision of a bottom-up democracy.
It will take you about 3 hours total to make it through four Rounds of asynchronous interaction using the Webscope. The synchonous interaction (Round 5) will take another 3 hours. For more specific information about each round use the navigation panel on the left to jump to a page. The schedule of activites appears below:
November 22 (Saturday)
Participate in a Webinar in the morning. Join the Wiki and learn how to use it.
Sign in and socialize with members of your team in the Webscope wiki's lounge. Practice using the wiki by keeping in touch with others in the Lounge. Remember when you sign in to upload your picture so we can add a name to a face.
You are not supposed to respond to the triggering question during this time.
But you can research it as much as you want.
December 1 (Monday)
1. You have until 5:00 PM New York Time, Wednesday, December 3, to respond to the triggering question.
December 4 (Thursday)
egin Round 2
. You will recieve everyones' responses in a Table. Round 2 requires you to look at the Table and use the Websope wiki to ask questions of clarification.
You have until Sunday, December 7, at
5:00 PM New York Time
to ask for the clarifications.
December 9 (Tuesday)
egin Round 3
. You will receive all of the responses again, but this time they will be organized into clusters so they are easier to digest. You will have until Wednesday, December 10, to suggest changes in the clusters.
December 11 (Thursday)
Begin Round 4
. You receive the amended clusters and everyone will be asked to vote on the top 5 statements. Please make sure you return your votes by Friday morning EST, so that the KMT can send you Table 3 with the voting results on Friday.
December 13 (Saturday)
Begin and complete Round 5. This will be our 3 hour synchornous Webscope (different places at the same time), from 9:00 AM to Noon New York Time, where you construct an influence map that will guide you in another Websope application dedicated to designing a collaborative action plan for overcoming the roadblocks to the realization of the Obama vision.
